Short Bio

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in the Kastner Research Group. I recently completed my PhD at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) under the supervision of Prof. Laura Pozzi. During my PhD, I also spent time as a visiting researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the VAST Laboratory.

My research focuses on compilers and optimization techniques for hardware accelerators, with emphasis on Coarse-Grained Reconfigurable Arrays (CGRAs) and FPGAs. I am interested in mapping problems, structural representations of computation, and balancing the trade-offs between compiler scalability and hardware performance. My work leverages formal methods, algorithm design, and architecture-level optimization to make specialized hardware more programmable and efficient.
